OUR STORY
Built on experience. Created together.
Safe Steps Training was founded by Darren and Stacie, a husband-and-wife team with backgrounds in the military, training, care and education.
Both are former members of the Armed Forces. Following his Army career, Darren moved into training, using his experience to help others develop practical skills and confidence. Stacie went on to work within the care sector and now works in education, bringing valuable experience of supporting people in different settings.
Together, they founded Safe Steps Training with a shared belief that good training should be practical, straightforward and confidence-building.
What began with first aid has grown to include Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding, and Bushcraft & Outdoor Coaching. Although the subjects are different, the aim remains the same: to give people useful skills, practical knowledge and the confidence to put what they have learned into practice.
