About the course
The Prevent Duty places responsibilities on schools and registered Early Years providers to help safeguard children and young people from being drawn into extremism and terrorism.
This online course helps Early Years professionals understand the Prevent Duty, what it means in practice and their responsibilities when safeguarding children.
It also explores how British Values support the Prevent Duty, how these values can be incorporated into the Early Years curriculum, and what Ofsted expects from Early Years providers.
