Anyone who handles, prepares, cooks, serves or stores food as part of their work.
The course is designed to help food handlers understand their responsibilities and follow good food hygiene practices to ensure food is handled and served safely.
About the course
This online course provides learners with the knowledge required to understand UK food safety and hygiene requirements and apply good food hygiene practices in the workplace.
Learners will explore food safety hazards, contamination, allergens, temperature control, storage, personal hygiene, cleaning and disinfection, pest control and food safety management systems.
