Who is it for?
Anyone responsible for fire safety or appointed as a Fire Marshal (Fire Warden) within their workplace. No previous fire safety knowledge is required.

About the course
This online course provides learners with the knowledge and understanding needed to carry out the role of a Fire Marshal effectively.

It covers fire prevention, workplace fire risks, emergency procedures and the responsibilities of a Fire Marshal in helping to prevent fires and support the safe evacuation of occupants during an emergency.

The course reflects the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and current fire safety guidance.

Course duration: Approx. 2 hours
Assessment: Self-checks throughout followed by a final multiple-choice assessment
Pass mark: 80% on the final assessment
Attempts: Up to 3 attempts
Certification: Downloadable certificate on successful completion
Certificate validity: 3 years

Please note: Depending on the workplace and its fire risk assessment, additional practical fire safety training may also be required.
