Safeguarding is a term we use to describe how we protect children, young people and vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect. It is an important and shared priority of many public services and a key responsibility of local authorities. Setting up and following good safeguarding policies and procedures means children and vulnerable adults can be safe from other adults and children who might pose a risk. This course will enable you to protect others and make a lasting difference. This course is designed for anyone working with children, young people or vulnerable adults, providing essential tools and knowledge. Our training is delivered in a dynamic, engaging, and sensitive way that makes learning impactful and memorable.
DURATION
This one-day course focuses on theoretical learning, giving learners a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and how to recognise and respond to concerns.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded a NUCO-accredited certificate.
